Israeli forces raided the West Bank home of a Palestinian American teenager from Texas around 3 a.m. in late June, days before his 18th birthday and during his final exams. Abdalkareem Issa Ahmed Safi remains in Ofer prison without charge or trial under an administrative detention order that expires Oct. 28 and could be renewed, Zeteo reports. American Muslims for Palestine says he is the third Palestinian American currently held by Israel without charge.

Israel has kidnapped ANOTHER American teenager!

The apartheid regime is now holding 3 young Americans in prison facilities that are notorious for prisoner abuse.

Abdalkareem Issa Ahmed Safi, an 18-year-old with Texas roots, was taken from his family’s West Bank home in the middle of the night. Adam Karakrah, a 16-year-old with ties to Chicago, was detained in July. Sama Safi, a 20-year-old with ties to Florida, was also taken from her family's home in June.

“Israeli authorities administer occupation by force and utilize the military law and court system to control all Palestinians regardless of American citizenship. For those implementing an apartheid system, the only measure to determine what rights attach is whether you are Palestinian,” said Brad Parker, associate director of policy and an attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights.

Gaza is no longer a city… it is a place where you wait for death while trapped, without even having the right to escape.

What happened today was terrifying beyond words. Around midday, a special forces unit entered a densely crowded area filled with tents in Gaza City. During the operation, more than 10 missiles were fired around the area, while quadcopter drones flew overhead, firing bullets and weapons randomly at the area.

No one was allowed to move. Children were screaming inside the tents, there were dead and wounded people around, and everyone was trapped, not knowing where to go.

Imagine living in a tent made of nothing but a piece of nylon, with missiles, drones, and random gunfire above your head, while you are not even allowed to move.

You cannot leave Gaza, and you are not allowed to escape. There is nowhere safe to go and no path to safety. It feels as if all that is left is to wait… to wait for your turn.

🚨 Eleven senators, led by Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), are invoking a fast-track provision of the Foreign Assistance Act to force the State Department to disclose what it knows about Israeli forces and settlers killing Americans and abusing Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank.

If adopted by the Senate, the Section 502B(c) privileged resolution would require the Trump administration to submit an unclassified report within 30 days. If the administration refused or failed to comply, covered U.S. weapons and other security assistance to Israel under the law would be prohibited. If the report is delivered, Congress could use its findings to pursue further restrictions.

Because the resolution is “privileged,” the Senate Foreign Relations Committee has only 10 days to consider it. If the committee fails to act, its sponsors can bring it directly to the Senate floor for a vote.

🔹 Van Hollen is joined by Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii), Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ed Markey (D-Mass.), Tina Smith (D-Minn.), Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) and Peter Welch (D-Vt.).

▪️ Evidence concerning nine Americans killed by Israeli forces or settlers since 2022
▪️ The status of U.S. and Israeli investigations
▪️ The identities of suspected perpetrators and responsible Israeli units
▪️ Whether those units should be barred from receiving U.S. assistance under federal law
▪️ Details of any action Washington has taken to secure accountability
▪️ Information on Palestinian children in Israeli military detention, including their numbers, charges, access to lawyers, reported torture and mistreatment, and the facilities and units implicated in abuse
