Same! I'd recommend checking out @OvercastFM (the best podcast player) and then using @PodHighlighter to capture your highlights. Huzzah!

@doctorcube @OvercastFM From your main podcast list, tap the podcast, then the "All" episode tab in the middle, and finally tap All in the upper right corner to download (or delete) all episodes. Easier to see than describe 😆
