The Union Cabinet, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji @narendramodi, has approved the Research Development & Innovation (RDI) Scheme with ₹1 lakh crore fund (Rs 20000 allocated in this year’s budget). @sanjeevsanyal on your views about green Steel from EU - they have patents because they encourage their employees to create by offering royalty and it is mandated there by law.

Indian employees working for Indian industries or GCCs have no incentive. In case of a GCC, if a joint patent is filed between EU and Indian employee, Indian employees does not receive any royalty while and EU employee is further motivated.
