The main function of the H-1B visa program is not to hire “the best and the brightest,” but rather to replace good-paying American jobs with low-wage indentured servants from abroad.

The cheaper the labor they hire, the more money the billionaires make.

@VivekGRamaswamy Thank you Vivek for clarifying. H1B is broken and abused. We need immigration that works. Let’s scrap H1B and create one called M1B for pure merit with checks and balances so it doesn’t put ordinary Americans at a disadvantage.

@paulg The other side is tech too, just not rich. They are anonymous because of the cancel culture and the power the rich tech people have. The other side suffered under woke culture and was hoping @elonmusk was on their side. They are now upset! Hope you get it.

@paulg You don’t understand people and their livelihoods. Do you understand what it feels like when your 100k job is given to a foreigner for 50k? What happens to their lifestyle, dreams and hopes of their children? Tech is not everything. It’s only a tool to make lives better.

@mousecrackers @paulg Vivek is correct. The brutal truth is that companies are driven by profits and tech nees skilled people. What happened to manufacturing in the 80s in its peak is happening to tech now. Profits killed American manufacturing, same for tech. @JDVance should know better.
