Our paper highlighting the differences in the male-determining Y chromosomes of cattle and sheep from telomere-to-telomere assemblies published at @NatureComms
Some interesting differences uncovered which we intend to explore further between breeds.

Sequencing of the sex-determining Y chromosomes of cattle & sheep has proved difficult. Olagunju et al. present complete T2T assemblies of these chromosomes & uncover differences between suggestive of divergent evolutionary trajectories.
