“Gut” the services? @AlachuaCounty wasted $83M of taxpayer dollars last year.
Projections say Alachua would lose $56M with a $250K exemption.
Even after an aggressive tax cut Alachua would STILL have more than enough to deliver services.
Stop the scare tactics. Cut your budget.

This is a much needed step forward to protect Floridians. There is still more that we can do legislatively to prevent another tragedy from happening on our highways.
My proposed legislation (HB 1307/SB 1380) will stop ALL pre-licensing testing and instruction from being given in any language other than English.
Let’s put this into law so that future administrations can’t change it back.

FACT: Property taxes have skyrocketed last 6 years.
FACT: Local governments are wasting your hard earned tax dollars.
FACT: Affordability is a BIG issue for Floridians.
Let’s help them.
We need ONE strong constitutional proposal to deliver property tax relief in 2026.
🚨 BREAKING: Florida is on the verge of BANNING illegal aliens from sending REMITTANCES, from having bank accounts, from getting any loans, home ownership assistance, licenses and more
It will automatically set an illegal alien driver "at fault" in car crashes for insurance purposes
The bill also severely heightens penalties on the COMPANIES who employ illegals
HUGE! FLORIDIANS FIRST. ☀️🇺🇸
Being pushed by Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia (@GovGoneWild), filed in the legislature by Rep. @BernyJacques and Sen. @JonMartinESQ
Today I filed HB 1307 to do the following:
🎯 Ban illegals from getting any form of home ownership assistance.
🎯 Ban illegals from sending remittances.
🎯 Ban illegals from opening bank accounts.
🎯 Ban illegals from getting workers’ compensation.
🎯 Increase penalties for businesses who hire illegals.
🎯 Make illegals automatically “at-fault” in motor vehicle accidents for the purposes of insurance claims, unless it’s rebutted by clear and convincing evidence.
Looking forward to working with CFO @BlaiseIngoglia and Sen. @JonMartinEsq to get this done!
🚨 JUST IN: Florida will now consider a law BANNING REMITTANCES from illegal aliens, banning illegals from having BANK ACCOUNTS, and banning illegals from obtaining any loan or home owner assistance
It also AUTOMATICALLY designates illegals in a car crash "at fault" for the purposes of insurance claims, overwhelming evidence is required to overturn this.
BASED. THIS IS THE WAY! ☀️🇺🇸
Rep. Berny Jacques' MASSIVE bill provisions:
- Heightens penalties for EMPLOYERS of illegals
- Bans the state from issuing license to illegals
- Bans illegals from getting any loans or home owner assistance
- Bans remittances to be sent from an illegal
- Bans illegals from having a bank account
- "At fault" automatically goes to the illegal driver until overwhelming evidence is presented
@BernyJacques: "We must remove the magnets for illegal migration and hold those who provide those magnets accountable."
I LOVE MY STATE.
Honored to be referred to as “one of the hardest working CFO’s in America” on @FoxBusiness as we continue to create illegal immigration disincentives here in Florida.
We are NOT California. We are NOT going to roll out the red carpet for you if you’re here illegally.
It is an immense honor to serve the best governor in the country, hands down.
I look forward to doing my part to keep the Free State of Florida the best place in the nation to live, work, and raise a family.
They did it.
On this day in 1787, the delegates to the federal convention in Philadelphia signed what would become the US Constitution.
The odds had been stacked against them — but they refused to fail. They compromised. They innovated. They led. And they produced the best written constitution in human history.
When he was leaving the convention after signing the Constitution, Benjamin Franklin was asked whether the convention had produced a republic or a monarchy.
Franklin famously answered, “A republic, if you can keep it.”
Having studied the failures of republics throughout history, the framers knew that a written constitution was a necessary foundation for republican government, but that every generation henceforth would be called upon to exercise the duties of being a citizen in a republic and to be good stewards of the Constitution.
This meant that each generation would need to defend liberty and preserve the nation’s founding principles.
Today, we celebrate the momentous achievement of the creation of the US Constitution but also remind ourselves that the future vitality of the republic lies in our hands. Our efforts to restore the founders’ vision for America are essential to ensure the endurance of a free society for generations to come.
Happy Constitution Day!
This upcoming Legislative Session, Floridians will walk into our State Capitol and be met by political operatives just starting their careers.
Legislative Aides, Policy and Legislative Affairs Directors, Comms Directors, Analysts, Fellows, Attorneys, Sergeants, and more.
They were drawn in because Charlie made politics fun. He lived his convictions, had confidence in God and the righteous fight ahead, and fostered a space for us to be inquisitive and learn.
His hand played a role in shaping Florida’s new generation of leaders—what a damn cool legacy to leave behind and be inspired by.
We will #NeverForget the nearly 3,000 American souls who lost their lives during the heinous attacks on 9/11.
On that tragic day, the strength and unity of our nation were put to the test and we prevailed over the terror and the evil.
We remain inspired by heroic stories of those who sacrificed their lives to save their neighbors.
May God bless them and their families, now and forever.
On the 24th anniversary of 9/11, we honor the lives lost, the heroes who emerged, and the resilience of the American spirit.
America will never forget.
🚨WARNING TO LOCAL GOVERNMENTS 🚨
It has come to my attention that some government employees may be altering and/or removing certain keywords from internal data systems in an effort to hide information from our @dogefl auditors.
Bad idea.
Let me be clear: I have no problem issuing subpoenas and putting people under oath to catch you. In addition, I will also call in the digital forensics team at @fdle and find your digital footprint.
I’m not messing around when I say I want to root out waste, fraud and abuse. #FAFO
