A tip a lot of beginner Pixel artists don’t hear that will make their work 16 times as good is the idea of Pixel foreshortening
The objects up close to the camera should have much larger pixels then the objects far away from the camera. This gives the scene a good sense of scale
@doctornowhere_ Completely unsolicited opinion here so take it with a grain if salt, but be careful with over-explaining horror entities, a big part of what makes them scary is the mystery!

@Sandwish_San@paledoptera graphical fidelity = realism, good graphics = good looking visuals. saying the games listed here don't have "good graphics" feels like it discounts all the hard work the artists put into them.
that's usually not what is meant but i'd just like the language to change is all.
