We’ve heard the community’s concerns about the $O airdrop, including inactive recipient wallets and batch claims. We appreciate people taking a closer look and want to share some context.

@o1_exchange supports multiple wallets per account, so one recipient wallet’s history may not reflect a user’s overall activity. Claims were processed automatically across eligible wallets, meaning secondary wallets could receive $O without users opening or manually claiming from them. An RPC outage caused by rate limits also delayed claims on airdrop day. Pending claims were backfilled afterward, contributing to the batch patterns seen onchain.

The airdrop was designed to recognize long-term participation. Some of our power users supported o1 before our product launched and are still with us today. Their continued support means a lot to us.

What recipients do with their $O is their choice. Our focus is on continuing to build useful features and reward programs across the Trading Terminal and Launchpad, with our long-term supporters in mind. Staking, which we hinted at before the TGE, is now live:
