@haroldpollack How many must I unfollow & mute to avoid people proclaiming their dislike of food? Any food that can be done well can be done badly. Some foods are acquired tastes, or taste different to different people.
But sure, more of your riveting discourse on that thing you don't like.
@RussOnPolitics@JoyceWhiteVance@atrupar Her office should direct him to the majority of persons on the committee responsible for the change who opposed this change.
I doubt Courts would uphold this. However, the gov could decline to appoint any candidate if KY would be better off w/out them.
KY governor has 'set the stage' for ignoring law banning him from appointing a Dem if McConnell steps down: report https://t.co/wB69vf9YtC
@angelaw1031@djrothkopf People who like Trump and want to vote for Trump are not going to vote for someone whose most compelling attribute is that he is vaguely tolerable to people who recognize that Trump is a criminal.
@AustinYoshino@jbouie The sad thing is that in-school suspension can be done in a beneficial way and beats the heck out of suspending kids whose parents are at work. And a library wouldn't be a bad place for it.
But I'm confident they have nothing good in mind.
@RevSethDub @jbouie Slavery was so long ago, but also my X greatgrandfather was at the Battle of Y in the war of northern aggression and here is his picture.
@AJEnglish@SeenaKhalil Yet when I take a flight w/ a connection and they delay/cancel my connecting flight such that I give up and find other transportation, they only want to reimburse a tiny portion of my overall cost, not the cost of a direct flight.
Shouldn't be able to have it both ways.
@rparloff@GOP Frankly, I don't know that it helps the Obama's security situation for the story to be headline news. Copycat crimes are a thing. It's there for those who are interested.
@SovietSergey@Twitter Post has the closest vibe but lacks some of my favorite contributors, and even of the people who left Twitter altogether, they never posted as much, and probably got less feedback.
But you ask people who are still here.
@d3navy @RepKatiePorter It can't because there is too little room for competition. Anyone can't just raise sufficient money to open a rental car shop and open up in major airports, which is where most cars are rented.
@TBScullion@emptywheel Post is a little weird, but it does seem to be the closest match. But some people just won't go there. And some tried, had problems, and won't back.
I have a piece in The NYT this morning. A Minneapolis suburb hired a Black chief and assistant chief. Over half the department quit. Yet the world didn’t end.
If cops would rather quit than respect the people they serve, maybe it’s okay to let them go.

@cchukudebelu I once had a family member going through a hard time and living in a poorer neighborhood. The only grocery w/in walking distance of the house they were living in charged $1 more per gallon of milk than the more upscale grocery I went to just 2-3 miles away.
@cchukudebelu Lot of money made off of poor people in the U.S. Some of it teed up by govt. For example, poor people pay more to have their tax forms prepared--an absurd ritual that should be performed by gov't computers. Pay day lending, also targeted at the poor, seems pretty lucrative.
