@sstfw@Xatz I agree with you on that.
What I'm wondering is: How strongly are you against piracy?
A lot -> better distribution is the best way to
reduce it and you should advocate for it.
Otherwise -> stay against piracy, but tolerate the status quo as the impacts are minimal.
@sstfw@Xatz Yes, a money and environmental issue.
For your second point, want it or not, culture will spread. If piracy is the way with minimal negative impact, it will be chosen. And as long as a legal pathway isn't present, it will continue.
@sstfw@Xatz From where I am, it would cost around 200 000 yen and 26H of flight to buy a Japanese copy that I can't even read.
I think this type of distribution is so bad that it's out of reach for 99%.
That's not even talking about all the pollution generated for doing this.
@hot_girl_spring@JonSe5a@Shreyassanthu77@Nateemerson I don't know all the details, but IBM used to give stock options so if the stock price doesn't grow, it becomes worthless.
You also had to wait a few years or else you would lose them
@makdevang@ScienceGuys_@XiaomiIndia PEMDAS or BODMAS are not real standardised rules.
ISO 80000-2 is the real standard and prohibits the use of ÷.
As it is not a standard equation, there is no right way to interpret this equation. So they aren't really in the wrong.
