@HMRCcustomers I can’t get through the confirm identity section? My new address on my passport and drivers licence and I can’t phone without updating address online first?
A heartfelt thank you by @WHO’s @DrMikeRyan to all of our incredible health workers around the world who have worked tirelessly to keep us safe. They are underpaid, overworked, and often not given the respect they deserve - we are truly grateful for all that you have done!
@RishiSunak It doesn’t HAVE to be cuts. Business Fraud costs £20bn a year. Go after that. Tech like Amazon / Google owe us £1bn a year. Go for them and backdate it. Name and shame the companies that cost us £9bn in useless PPE, or who defrauded Furlough Scheme by £4bn. (1/2)
@olifranklin There’s an enormous thread on mumsnet explaining ‘gradual retreat’ I used this with both of my never sleeping babies when they were about 9 months old. Was a lot of work during the first few nights, but so worth it. https://t.co/l5t5IswhPi
Thank you @RewildingB for your excellent piece on why urgent changes to planning are needed to protect wild areas and nature corridors @KneppSafaris #rewilding#buildbetter@mhclg

Right, I’ve been doing some reading (and writing) about young women’s experiences in public space, and it’s made me so angry and upset that I have to share a digest with you all.
“People feel vulnerable & betrayed by the failure of their leaders. The over 400k deaths from covid-19 in the US, 250k in Brazil, 150k each in India & Mexico, and 100k in the UK comprise half of the world’s covid death toll—on the hands of only 5 nations.”

So the lovely people at @BestForBritain have made this page to make it *even easier* to tweet/email MPs at 8pm every Thursday to ask them to support better wages for frontline key & essential workers - great idea @BootstrapCook 😀 #ThunderclapForCarers https://t.co/KaKzoM2h9Y
The government has long said that closing schools and businesses is a last resort.
But is it really?
It seems to me that their real last resort is actioning public health policies in a public health crisis which might go against their conservative ideologies...
