@TaintlessRed I was thinking the same. He is so talented, so skilful & easy on the eye, but he needs to be more selfish, more aggressive & grab games by the neck. When he gets the ball around the box, no need to pass or combine, just shoot or whip it in the box.
@Mobyhaque1 Top4/Top6 clubs will slap 500M or 1B release clauses, but also the other clubs won’t be able to set crazy prices like 150M for Anderson because no player will sign a contract with crazy RC when they are expected to move to bigger club in the near future.
@GrizzKhan@BenBocsak I think the priority should be to get pace upfront, stretch teams & being able to beat opponents 1-on-1. The main output should come from Isak, Wirtz & Hugo when he’s back. We need Barcola & Diomande imo.
@LFC_ERYAN@HendrickD82 Completely agree. Play someone like Camara next to Wharton, keep Szobo in the middle as well, so we can have fluidity with 4-2-2-2/4-2-3-1 offensively but also have defensive stability and press high with Szobo as a trigger.
@samuelap1_ And this is exactly the issue we have we Slot. We actually mind that the first-line of pressure is always bypassed, we mind the risk averse +1 in the backline. We want full throttle M2M pressing all over the pitch for 90 minutes, maximum aggression in duels, cards flying. Slotout
@Biggies_MaIIs That’s more on us than them tbh. Didn’t see Arne or our players put pressure on the referee once. We had a clear goal disallowed vs Spurs and that referee still breathes. Forget breathes, he is officiating our games. That’s on us.
@JamesPearceLFC For those saying it hit his thigh first. The rule doesn’t automatically stipulate that if the ball hits a different body part first it is automatically not a penalty. If the ball hits defender’s thigh & rebounds onto an arm stretched far away making body bigger it is often given.
@SophieJovi Because people are obsessed with managers and fail to understand the most simple equation in football, good players=good football. Real Madrid won so many titles without any recognisable style or patterns of play, purely individual brilliance. Look at Enrique’s time in Roma…
