@DoorDash your dasher chose to lean my pizza up against my door vertically so all my slices got destroyed. What’s up with that??
@UberEats drivers are a lot more respectful!
Agencies are just sales and retention systems
1) System to acquire clients; system to retain clients
2) System to recruit new talent; system to retain talent
To run a successful agency you need to have extreme clarity on:
1. The systems you build.
2. The outputs they generate.
3. How to measure and track those outputs.
4. The people who have ownership of these systems.
Each system must operate concurrently and consistently every day, every week.
What most people get wrong is just focusing on one component in isolation:
“We need more sales.”
“We need to hire an account manager ASAP.”
“We need to do better with this one client.”
The reality is:
1. Clients are going to churn
2. Employees are going to leave
3. Sales will happen in waves
If you build systems that run consistently, you will reduce churn to a manageable level while keeping a bench of potential clients and employees ready to go to fill gaps. This is what makes a robust agency.
