@ProtonVPN@freedomhouse Not sure I trust them, from their 2025 report it seems like they are way too soft on countries trying to end internet anonymity and set up mass surveillance, they almost make it seem like it's a given that needs to be accepted and we should push for "safeguards" for it instead.
@RohanGod_ I think they remove agency to justify their shitty matchmaking, if they kept current matchmaking and increased agency every game would be a stomp
@paradoxic_l The transparency of endstep was clearly pushing the frustration level of dealing with riot employees below the intended level. So in order to assure the longevity of the game he was removed to make the impact of more frustrating employees more apparent
@Shiru__SV@harry11a a game that is built around snowballing cannot rely on team based skill expression, because then you are punished for mistakes someone else makes, that's bad game design
@CookieLoLxx Active: Jax enters Evasion, a defensive stance, for up to 2 seconds, causing all basic attacks against him to miss. Jax also takes 25% reduced damage from all champion area of effect abilities. After 1 second, Jax can reactivate to end it immediately.
@LemonIsMyName14@drewlevin@superuchi_ "If it leads to people being aware of and focusing on more roams and more obj skirmishes." their goal was to reduce this in season 2026, so that would go against their own goal
@drewlevin@superuchi_ A big difference between a good and a bad laner is how they use their mental space more efficiently. When you make last hitting a less demanding activity you make the efficient use of the good laner's mental space less relavent
@drewlevin@superuchi_ It's less about the improvement to cs/min and more about the mental space it frees to make other decisions, last hitting should be a distracting activity that forces you to divert attention from enemy laner/jg tracking/cds/wave states/recall/obj timers
