🔬 Our science labs were full of learning last week. Take Ms. Gendron's AP Biology II class, for example, who spent the week working on a lab on osmosis and diffusion, using dialysis tubing as a model cell membrane to explore how molecules move across a semipermeable membrane.

Students tested for the presence of starch and salt using IKI and silver nitrate solutions, then built their own dialysis tubing "cells" filled with different sucrose concentrations to measure how solute concentration affects diffusion rate. They even using their data to predict two unknown concentrations.

More than 50 Raider Alumni came home to Severn Avenue today for our annual Career Day!

From medicine and law to engineering, media, and entrepreneurship, our juniors and seniors spent the day hearing from professionals across dozens of industries.

As our Alumni Director Mr. Lou Reynolds ‘74 shared: "I think our students benefited just as much as our alumni enjoyed being back on campus."
