Hoping these tweets are to the end of the West as Procopius was to the end of Antiquity

@infraexplained @Lib_Development Better than a 4h commute. It also seems normal if you choose to live 40 km away from your job you’re gonna take at least an hour to get there

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@keitherpuss @colemanjspilde Okay, DO you know about the Spanish Civil War then?

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@keitherpuss “Enjoy being naked on the beach”… you mean the scenes when they pull out and play with a dead body, pretend to lead an execution firing squad, and celebrate the killing of Republican soldiers? “Did nothing” other than force one of the gay lovers to kill each other?

Zohran Mamdani’s administration has unveiled new sidewalk shed designs for NYC in an effort to bring better-designed sidewalks to all five boroughs.

The administration has also reduced the number of sidewalk sheds by 1,200 across the city — a decrease of over 15% in 10 months.

@vindafarnah @Fullantho @Pokemonprimed You’re an Iranian larping as a non-Muslim shut the fuck up

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@Fullantho @Pokemonprimed Maybe you need to visit more churches, if you’re so based, and realise that blocking off the artistic-heritage parts of the church and charging admission to those is an EXTREMELY common thing in Italian churches to allow free admission for the religious and charge tourists

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@LinkofSunshine That’s just a Westminster constituency (with 13x the population)

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@nuenerlucky @keepofffgrass I found it very appealing when your girlfriend dumped you

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@breakingyoun No… Mimi-Rose is supposed to suck. She is an awful character. You’re making up things to get mad about

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@kimim1212534 @fvigeland You’re a fucking child lmao

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@kimim1212534 @fvigeland Again, not Americanised, just American.

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@kimim1212534 @fvigeland I mean you’re the one who’s surprised the New York Times is catered to an American audience, I don’t know what to tell you

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@kimim1212534 @fvigeland It’s not americanised, it’s just American

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@squeakytoy “If the odds favoured me once they’re gonna favour me every time!”

Gambling addict’s mindset

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@theojaffee England IS a green and pleasant land, all the stupid stereotypes about the rain notwithstanding

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@edwfooddiary @icemyeyes @emilio__oilime Yes.

Limes are inexpensive and you don’t need a lot of them to get the taste. Salt can be comically cheap (and you need to eat it anyways!) and cilantro, if you buy it dried, lasts for months and many uses. It’s a skill issue; you don’t know how to make good tacos.

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@winnie808s @genzalternative My assumption is that since the rumour got out that’s what people were calling it

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@Joshua4570 > yes, this is ALL of them
> almost 3 billion people

[Late Contemporaneity @postcontempor]

@edwfooddiary @icemyeyes @emilio__oilime skill issue
