Thank you Odisha, and Bhubaneswar, for making us proud by being selected as host of the 2028 World Athletics Indoor Championships
But we recognise that this isn’t an isolated achievement.
It’s a textbook case of strategy executed over time.
Michael Porter, the Guru of competitive strategy, described how nations build advantage through clusters: dense ecosystems where infrastructure, talent, institutions and demand reinforce each other.
Such clusters create a flywheel: better facilities attract events, events sharpen execution, execution builds credibility, and credibility attracts more investment.
This is exactly the flywheel Odisha set in motion.
The lesson is simple: you don’t bid for global events.
You build ecosystems, and the world comes to you.
@Nithin0dha Sorry Nithin if we are talking about generalised banking app, as per my knowledge Hdfc and axis do not require phone, contact etc permissions on apple devices atleast. Camera is required if you have face id enabled for authorised access to the app.
Scientists found SpongeBob & Patrick during an ocean expedition 😭
During a 2021 NOAA deep-sea expedition, scientists spotted a yellow sponge and a pink sea star sitting side by side nearly 6,200 feet below the Atlantic. Marine biologist Christopher Mah joked they looked like SpongeBob and Patrick, causing the photo to quickly go viral.

O Christmas tree, o cosmic tree 🎄
Located about 2,500 light-years from Earth, NGC 2264 is a cluster of young stars between one and five million years old. The stars appear as blue and white lights surrounded by swirls of gas—the “pine needles” of the tree—with green representing light in the visible spectrum.

When defence timelines feel slow and systems seem stuck, take a moment and go back to #RocketBoys the only reason I still keep my SonyLIV subscription.
Yes, it’s dramatized, but it still reminds me of what Homi Bhabha used to say:
“The future belongs to those who can create it.”
