@ripplepig@SamMaggs Ha! Had a similar situation. Flew to another state, had 6 hours of interviews. When I didn't get it the feedback I got was they didn't think I was committed enough to the position and they wanted someone who would stay in that position..... I dunno, forever?
@BrianTMcClellan I'd say it's a slower version of stardew. Based on what I've played so far there's less skill advancement. It's more about building and designing your village/home, there isn't really an endgame to it as far as I can tell. Has a similar relaxing vibe to Stardew though.
@BrianTMcClellan lol SAME. I never make it passed summer, and half the time I can't even get passed the Sealnado. But still, it's my favorite of all the DLC packs. Though RoG is good too.
What we're learning right now is that a lot of people who said "YES!" to that "If someone offered you $10k to go live in a cabin in the middle of nowhere with no internet & no social interaction for a month, would you do it?" Question would absolutely not have even lasted a week.
@BrianTMcClellan It's a really great platform. I've used it frequently to play games with friends who live across the country from me. That being said, while it works great I feel like that medium of playing tends to slow down gameplay and make games feel like they drag on more than in real life.
@ChuckWendig Kingdomino is pretty similar to Carcassonne. Quick to learn, quick to play, up to 4 players. Also recommend Azul and Century spice road both easy to play/learn with good elements of light strategy. 4+ players.
Everyone has a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination & Insecurity Mountain, kill the fear demons, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, & use it to slice their chest open and yank that book out.
Trouble at Etsy. Accounts have been seeing charges of over $5000 to their credit cards connected to their shop accounts. Shoppers might want to check their accounts as well. Etsy took $12,000 from this shop owner @etsy#etsy
