This is the Château de Pierrefonds in France, one of the most magical castles in the world.
But if it seems too good to be true, that's because it is: this is not a real Medieval castle.
So what is it? That's where things get complicated...
Did you know that roughly two-thirds of @NASA_Astronauts have served in the United States armed forces? This #VeteransDay, we salute all Americans who served or are serving in the military.
Wishing a Happy Birthday to the @usairforce – a highly distinguished service built by generations of great patriots that I’m beyond proud to have been a part of! From the skies, to space, to our strategic needs, the U.S. Air Force has always shown us how to #AimHigh and Fly-Fight-Win for the nation. For having just turned 76, you’re looking pretty good! #AProudSalute
Happy #NationalAviationDay, aka every day at the National Air and Space Museum!
To celebrate, tell us: What's your favorite aircraft in our collection?
July 20, 1969 is a date that represents a pinnacle of human achievement - the #Apollo11 Moon landing. And while it was certainly special, it was only part of a long and challenging effort that involved thousands of people working hard and doing their part, resulting in the subsequent Apollo missions taking Americans to the Moon and returning them safely to Earth. It truly was America at its best.
With the highest gratitude, thank you @usairforce for the promotion from Colonel to Brigadier General. To my fellow Americans, thank you for your trust in me. I took an oath to our country which I’ll never break. It’s been my great privilege to serve our nation, and I’ll do so again if called. #aimhigh
I may be a proud West Pointer, but as an Air Force vet, I have great admiration for the patriots and leaders who’ve graduated from the @AF_Academy. After the @usairforce became its own service in ‘47, the USAFA was established on April 1st of ‘54. Keep aiming high!
Smoothing the way for the @NASA_SLS mega Moon rocket, an optical guided motor grader ensures the crawlerway's river rock is a precision depth for Artemis I. Exacting measurements are especially important on the turns. 🚀🌕

👨🚀 CMP Alfred Worden
👨🚀 LMP James Irwin
