ECI did not make any changes to Form 6; instead, it added a declaration to it during the Bihar SIR.

And the Supreme Court upheld that decision.

Yesterday’s SC ruling concerns the fact that no order was issued to alter Form 6, something the ECI had not done anyway.

Here is the Supreme Court's order from May 2026, in which it upheld the ECI's decision, the very decision mentioned in the ECI's press release.

Our rural school Kalaivani Kalvi Maiyam, which provides completely free education to rural children, faced delays getting approvals from the previous government. Of course, significant money was demanded and we were told that was the only way, even if it is a completely free school.

After @TVKVijayHQ came to power, approvals have happened quickly and automatically.
