Cost of Living Report 2024 ફિનશોટ્સ દ્વારા તાજેતરમાં હાથ ધરાયેલા એક સરવેમાં ચોંકાવનારા ખુલાસા થયા. સરવે મુજબ ભારતમાં કોસ્ટ ઓફ લિવિંગ (જીવન ગુજરાન માટે ખર્ચ) મામલે ગુજરાત દેશનું સૌથી મોંઘું રાજ્ય છે. જ્યાં સામાન્ય જીવન જીવવા માટે દર મહિને લગભગ 46000 રૂપિયાની પડે. જ્યારે સૌથી સસ્તું જીવન ગુજરાન પડે એ રાજ્ય છે હિમાચલ પ્રદેશ જ્યાં દર મહિને 23000 રૂપિયાની જરૂર પડે. આ સરવેમાં સામાન્ય જીવન જીવતા મધ્યમ વર્ગની વ્યક્તિની આવકને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને ઘરનું ભાડું, માસિક ભોજન ખર્ચ, નોકરીએ આવવા જવાનો ખર્ચ, લાઈટ બિલ, ફોન બિલ, પેટ્રોલ બિલ અને ઘરના જરુરી ખર્ચાઓને ધ્યાને લેવાયા હતા. સર્વે પ્રમાણે ગુજરાતનું કૉસ્ટ ઓફ લિવિંગ દેશના 28 રાજ્યો અને 8 કેન્દ્ર શાસિત પ્રદેશોમાં સૌથી વધુ હતું.
