✳️ As of 20th July, 2026, more than 10.18 Crore Farmer IDs have been created to streamline the direct transfer of subsidies and technical advisories
✳️ States are using Farmer IDs to ease the lives of farmers. It enables the integration of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes such as registrations under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna (PM Kisan), Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna (PMFBY), Minimum Support Price (MSP) based procurement, access to credit delivery, input distribution, and disaster relief.

SAGARMALA PROGRAMME AND PORT MODERNISATION
#Sagarmala scheme is a central sector scheme @shipmin_india with the target to promote port-led development in the country. Under this scheme, MoPSW provides financial assistance for the projects under 5 pillars namely, port modernization, port connectivity, port-led industrialization, coastal community development, and coastal shipping & inland water transport
Port processes have been streamlined with the implementation of One Nation One Port Process (ONOP) to improve operational efficiency and reduce vessel turnaround time. As a result of these initiatives, the cargo handling capacity of the Major and Other than Major Ports (OTMP) has increased to 2,818 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) as on March 2026 from ~1,400 MTPA in 2013-14

▪️DDU-GKY is one of the cluster of initiatives under Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) aimed at livelihood diversification and poverty reduction.
▪️DDU-GKY aims to skill rural youth and promote sustainable livelihoods for rural youth through placement linked skilling programs.
▪️Under DDU-GKY, efforts are made to align the aspirations of rural youth with the evolving skill requirements of the labour market. States/UTs are provided budgetary support to undertake skill gap studies to identify sectoral opportunities and employment potential in their regions.
▪️Based on these studies, States/UTs and Project Implementing Agencies (PIAs) are encouraged to propose training programmes in emerging and high-growth sectors aligned with local, domestic and global job markets.

Climate Risk and Crop Insurance
Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (#PMFBY) and Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme (RWBCIS) is mainly implemented on ‘Area Approach’ basis wherein claims are worked out on the area of the land parcel based on the shortfall in actual yield of the crop insured, submitted by the State Government concerned, on the basis of Crop Cutting Experiment (CCE) as well as technology based yield estimated under YES-TECH (wherever applicable), vis-à-vis threshold yield, as per the formula in the Operational Guidelines of the scheme
As per the National Policy on Disaster Management (NPDM), the State Governments undertake relief measures in the wake of natural calamities from funds available in the form of the State Disaster Response Fund (#SDRF) in accordance with the Government of India approved items and norms

IMPLEMENTATION OF PM-SVANIDHI SCHEME
PM SVANidhi Scheme was initially implemented in statutory urban areas. The eligibility was also extended to street vendors from surrounding peri-urban areas who vend within the geographical limits of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). Under the restructured PM SVANidhi Scheme, the coverage of the Scheme is expanded in a phased manner beyond statutory urban areas to include census towns, peri urban areas etc.
Impact assessment studies of the PM SVANidhi scheme was undertaken by Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad in 2023 & 2025. The 2023 study was conducted in 100 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) across the country covering more than 5,000 beneficiaries and it found that PM SVANidhi was the first loan from a bank for 95% of the beneficiaries and the loan was utilized for expanding their business

MISSION KARMAYOGI
#MissionKarmayogi, the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB) was approved by the Government of India in September 2020 with an aim of transitioning from a 'rule- based' to 'role-based' HR system and creating civil servants with a global outlook while being rooted in lndian ethos.
As on date, more than 1.69 crore users have been onboarded, and the platform hosts over 5500 courses across domain, functional and behavioural competencies, with more than 14.08 crore course completions.
Courses are available in 23 languages, including Hindi and other Indian languages, enabling wide accessibility and alignment with regional and linguistic needs.
