What’s unfolding in Dharwad is unacceptable.

Students asking for timely job notifications, faster recruitment, and pending results are being met with ₹1 lakh bonds and forced undertakings to stay silent. This is not governance—it is intimidation.

We had already stood with these very job aspirants during the large-scale protests across the Hubli–Dharwad belt earlier—raising the issue of delayed notifications, indefinite result timelines, and the complete lack of accountability in recruitment processes. Those concerns remain unaddressed even today.

Instead of resolving systemic failures, the @INCKarnataka government has chosen to penalize the victims of its inefficiency.

Let’s be clear:
Delays in public recruitment are a failure of governance. Peaceful protest against that failure is a constitutional right—not a punishable act.

Using financial coercion and legal pressure against unemployed youth sets a dangerous precedent and reflects a complete disconnect from ground realities.

If these notices and cases are not withdrawn immediately, we will escalate this issue—legally and politically—across every available forum and the people’s forums.

You cannot silence a generation that is simply asking for fair opportunity.

KPSC ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಲು ಸಾಲು ಎಡವಟ್ಟು, ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ, ಸ್ವಜನಪಕ್ಷಪಾತ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುವ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಬದ್ದ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಮೊಟಕುಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಇವರ ದುರಾಡಳಿತಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಡಿದ ಕೈಗನ್ನಡಿ. ಧಾರವಾಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಿರುವ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಲೇ ಬಂಧಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಬ��ಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಯಾವುದೇ ಷರತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸದೆ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು.

2011 ಗೆಜೆಟೆಡ್ ಪ್ರೊಬೇಷನರ್ಸ್ (KAS ) ನೇಮಕಾತಿಯಲ��ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮವೆಸಗಿದ್ದ ಮಾಜಿ ಐಎಎಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗೋನಾಳ್ ಭೀಮಪ್ಪ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಇದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಗೃಹ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವುದು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಅರ್ಹ, ಪ್ರತಿಭಾನ್ವಿತ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ. ಸದರಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಉಚ್ಚ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯವು ಕಾರ್ಯವಿಧಾನದ ದೋಷಗಳು (procedural lapses) ಆಗಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಹೊಸ ದೋಷಾರೋಪ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು (fresh chargesheet) ದಾಖಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿತ್ತು.

ಆದರೆ, ಪ್ರಕರಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆಲ ಪ್ರಬಲರನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವ ಸಲುವಾಗ��� ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಭೀಮಪ್ಪ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಕೇಸನ್ನು ವಾಪಾಸ್ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗದ ಕ್ರೂರ ಅಣಕವಾಗಿದೆ.

ನೇಮಕಾತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಂಡ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ, ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ, ದೋಷಪೂರಿತ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ, ಫಲಿತಾಂಶದ ವಿಳಂಬ, ಸ್ವಜನಪಕ್ಷಪಾತದಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಳುಗಿರುವ ಆಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಮೂಲಾಗ್ರ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಭೀಮಪ್ಪ ಅವರ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯ���ತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ.

ಈ ಮೇಲ್ಕಂಡ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಭಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ ಮರು ಅಧಿಸೂಚನೆ ಮಾಡಲಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಭೂಮಾಪಕ ( Land surveyor ) ಹುದ್��ೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ (KEA) ಮೂಲಕ ನಡೆಸುವ ಕುರಿತು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ KPSC ಮೂಲಕ ಆಗುವಂತಹ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೇಮಕಾತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರದ ಆರೋಪಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. KPSCಯ CTI PDO KAS AEE ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ನಡೆದಂತಹ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲು ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರದ ಆರೋಪ ಕೇಳಿ ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಬಲಿಯಾಗುವುದು ಅನ್ಯಾಯ.
ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ KEA ಮೂಲಕ ಆದಂತಹ ಕಂದಾಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ VAO ಆಗಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಯಾವುದೇ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರದ ಆರೋಪ ಬರದೇ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕತೆಯಿಂದ, ನ್ಯಾಯಸಮ್ಮತ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಯಬದ್ಧ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಸರುವಾಸಿ��ಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಮತ್ತು ಆತಂಕತವನ್ನೇ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳಕಳೆಯಿಂದ ವಿನಂತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ

The constant news about another scam in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) exams is deeply concerning. When a major organization responsible for hiring state officials keeps facing allegations of cheating and paper leaks, the public completely loses trust. This is not just an administrative error; it is a direct attack on the idea that hard work and talent should be rewarded. The repeated cycle of corruption shows that the current system is failing the state's most dedicated and hardworking young people.

As a constitutional body, the KPSC is expected to operate with complete honesty and strict security. However, its ongoing failure to protect the exam process from cheating highlights serious weaknesses in how it is run. The lack of basic modern technology, poor data security, and careless management make it too easy for bad actors to manipulate the system. When the very institution meant to test candidates becomes suspicious, it puts the entire future of the state's administration at risk.

The blame does not fall on the KPSC alone; the government also shares responsibility for its lack of strong action. Fixing these deep-rooted issues requires more than just temporary investigations or suspending a few officials. It demands real changes to the law and how things are run. The government's hesitation to bring in strict anti-corruption rules or create a completely transparent system allows these cheating networks to survive. True good governance means having zero tolerance for recruitment fraud.

The biggest victims of these repeated failures are the lakhs of honest students who suffer massive emotional and financial stress. For many young people from middle-class and poorer backgrounds, passing these exams is their only hope for a better future and a stable career. Realizing that their years of studying, sacrificing, and hard work might be ruined by a rigged system leaves them feeling angry and hopeless. It is deeply unfair to maintain an environment where money or connections matter more than actual intelligence and effort.

To bring back trust in the public service hiring process, we need real, permanent changes rather than quick fixes. The KPSC needs a complete overhaul to match the strict, reliable standards of the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission). This means using end-to-end digital security and reducing human involvement in handling exam papers. Furthermore, the government must quickly and severely punish anyone caught running these scams to set a strong example. Only through total transparency and strict accountability can the state protect the future of its youth.
