This is not a startup demo. This is one of the largest infrastructure monopolies on the planet telling you it already replaced the people who built it.

For fifty years, building software meant translating human intent into machine instructions. Line by line. Bug by bug. Sprint by sprint.

That entire layer is gone.

Ellison: “We don’t write the procedure. We declare our intent.”

That sentence just made the entire engineering labor market flinch. The procedure was the job. The procedure was the paycheck. The procedure was what made a developer valuable.

And now the machine does it without being asked twice.

Ellison: “We just tell the model what we want the program to do, and then the AI comes up with a step-by-step process to actually do it.”

You are no longer paid to build. You are paid to think.

And most organizations have no idea how to evaluate that.

The companies still hiring armies of developers to grind through codebases are paying salaries the machine already made worthless. Not in years. In seconds.

When a company worth hundreds of billions hands the keyboard to the machine and tells you the output is better, the debate is not winding down.

The debate is over.

The enterprise that wins this decade does not write the best code. It removes the human from the process entirely and runs on intent alone.

The programmers who survive are the ones who realize the craft is no longer typing.

It is architecture. It is judgment. It is knowing what to build and why.

Everything else now belongs to the machine.

And the machine does not negotiate severance.

A 27-year-old software engineer died after his car collided with a drainage boundary and fell into a deep ditch amid dense fog in #Noida, sparking outrage among the residents. 

The incident took place on Friday night near Sector 150, when the techie, Yuvraj Mehta, was returning home from work.

Due to the dense fog and the absence of reflectors on the road, his car collided with a high-ground ridge that separates two adjacent drainage basins, and fell into a 70-feet-deep ditch filled with water.

Some people who were passing by heard Mehta's screams and tried to help, but the car was completely submerged.

The techie even called his father, Rajkumar Mehta, and told him, "Dad, I've fallen into a deep pit filled with water. I'm drowning. Please come and save me. I don't want to die."

Within a few minutes, local police, divers, and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams arrived at the scene and initiated a rescue operation. Mehta's father was also present at the spot.

The techie and his car were pulled out of the ditch after nearly five hours of rescue efforts. Mehta, however, was declared dead.

Following the incident, Mehta's family filed a complaint, alleging that the authorities had neither installed reflectors nor covered drains along the service road. The absence of reflectors along the road amid dense fog caused the accident, the victim's father said. Knowledge Park Police Station in-charge Sarvesh Kumar said any negligence found in the case will be investigated, and necessary legal action will be taken.

The #NoidaPolice has lodged a First Information Report (FIR) against two builders following a complaint by the victim's father.

The case has been lodged against MJ Wishtown Planner Limited and Lotus Green Construction Private Limited at the Knowledge Park police station.

The incident also sparked widespread outrage among residents, with some locals organising protests and shouting slogans against the authorities.

According to them, they had repeatedly demanded the installation of reflectors and signage on the service road, but no action was taken.

Shortly after, the authorities filled the deep ditch with several tons of garbage and debris.

Voice note sent by Ridhanya to her father before she consumed fumigant pesticide tablets, allegedly driven to suicide by dowry harassment and mental torture.

She had married Kavin Kumar in Apr this year in Tiruppur, TN. As per reports, the marriage involved a dowry of 800g of gold and a Volvo car worth ₹70 lakh. Despite the lavish arrangements and huge dowry, the harassment began within ten days of the wedding, according to the police.

So much is wrong here. The husband and in-laws are monsters. No punishment can ever be enough for this crime. Brutal, inhuman filthy people who deserve nothing short of hell. The blame lies squarely with them.

Also want to mention that she had communicated her plight to her loved ones but was told to compromise as the above and this other voice note suggest :

"I’m unable to bear their mental torture every day. I don’t know whom to turn to. Those who listen tell me to compromise, saying ‘life is like this only,’ but they don’t understand my suffering.”

This makes it even more heartbreaking. If the parents or family members were aware and still didn’t help her, it’s utterly tragic. It’s 2025, and even among the wealthy, dowry is still being given, and daughters still aren’t being saved when they cry out for help. When will parents understand that a divorced daughter is always better than a dead daughter?
