If you are a Brahmin girl looking to get married and you reject a Brahmin boy solely because he is too traditional, adorns his forehead always, does daily Sandhyavandana and instead you look at only his salary, it is like going into the battlefield without any protection, arms or weapons for imminent doom
Without your husband doing Shastrokta Sandhyavandana, both your lives can turn upside down anytime once both your ancestral Punyas get depleted
Your fiancee/husband's Gayatri Upasana is your family's Kavach against all negative things
If you solely look at the boy's salary to decide on his matrimonial alliance, then there is a real story for you. Sometime back there was a mass layoff in a big company. In a huge team, many got fired overnight while 3 of them escaped unharmed. It was no coincidence that these 3 of them were doing daily Sandhyavandana ..
Another one - There was a person against whom another person performed Aabhichara/black magic through a Tantrik, due to some animosity. This person was unfazed and said calmly "I do my Nityakarmanushtanas. My Gayatri Devi will protect me. Why should I worry?". As he had predicted, nothing, no harm befell him. And unfortunately the person who had performed the Aabhichara on him passed away soon after
A couple, married for many years, were trying hard to conceive but in vain. The wife underwent multiple miscarriage despite all efforts and went into depression. After the husband started doing Shastrokta Sandhyavandana, the wife soon became pregnant and delivered a child..
Families have been catapulted out of near-poverty situations solely due to the husband doing Gayatri Upasana
Many many such real life incidents I could go on and on...
Don't want to "sell" based on miracles, as Nityakarma is a duty ordained in Veda. But sometimes miracles are like the trigger point for Brahmins to wake up and get back on the Dharmic track ... For some, unless they see/ hear results, the modern mind does not easily accept Shastra or Rishi vakya
The time taken for Anushtanas to yield desired results depends on the poorva janma stock of Punyas in your account but Anushtanas (performed exactly as per Shastras) definitely do yield results, whether sooner or later
Do not underestimate the power of Gayatri Devi's Upasana
If you are a Brahmin girl looking to get married and if you are able to identify a Brahmin boy who is traditional and does his Sandhyavandana, then consider yourself lucky to have found him and say Yes to him immediately.
This is the biggest problem plagueing Sanatana Dharma. The number of single Brahmin boys who remain unmarried solely because they are too traditional and they are unable to find a girl aligned to their thoughts, as the modern Brahmin girl is unable to align to his wavelength. And I'm not even talking about Vedic pandit boys (which is a different sad story altogether) but about loukeeka/modern educated boys working in corporates, earning handsomely but unmarried and ageing alone just because they or their families are too traditional [You can notice quite a few such unmarried traditional Brahmin boys here in X as well, posting misogynist tweets & memes out of frustration]
Vaidika Sanatana Dharma grows only when we carry it forward to the next generation
Get married to a Sandhya-doing Anushthata boy, beget Dharma Prajas and let your children carry forward the torch of Sanatana Dharma. You cannot imagine the positive transformations that will happen to you and your husband if he follows Shastra.
So find and get married to such a boy for your own selfish reason.

- Discourse in Tamil on Gayatri Mahima
A farmer in TN Anand, has started a website (Ulavar Anand), selling native veggie seeds at a very nominal price
For 100rs order, they send it in a well packed in cardboard box and a cloth bag. Neat, presentable. All seeds germinated too.
Hats off to his professionalism
This chart is not mere anatomy; it is a map of ascension for the initiate.
At the center, you see Man, the Microcosm, traversed by seven 'Seats' or Chakras. In alchemy, these are not simply energy points, but the seven stations where the lead of your raw emotions must be transmuted into the gold of pure Spirit. We ascend from the Root (Earth, stability) to the Crown (enlightenment), connected to the Source by that Etheric Cord mentioned in the text-the silver thread that sustains our life.
But the true Hermetic secret lies within the numerical table below: the Law of the Octave.
Observe how every opposite resolves into the number 8: the lowest plane (1, Physical) added to the highest (7, Union) yields Eight, the number of perfect equilibrium and infinity.
The message is clear: you cannot reach the Heavens (7) by shunning the Earth (1). You must unite the opposites. You are the bridge between the ethereal and material worlds.
Meditate upon this geometry: you are not divided; you are a divine equation merely waiting to be solved.
In times marked by unrest, conflict, and deep uncertainty, our tradition turns us inward - to the unfailing refuge of the Divine Mother - Daily Chanting of Durga Saptashloki Ordained by Jagadguru Shankaracharya
Recognising the challenges faced today globally—by society, the nations, and individuals—Sringeri Jagadguru Shankaracharya directs all Astikas to chant the Durga Saptashloki daily for a minimum of 3 times.
This sacred essence of the Durga Saptashati is a powerful prayer for protection, the dispelling of adversities, and inner steadiness.

Most people think the Ramayan and Mahabharat happened once in history. But according to the Yoga Vasistha, time is a loop, and there is one witness who has seen it all: Kakbhushundi, the Eternal Crow Sage. 🦅
Kakbhushundi wasn’t born a crow by accident. He was the son of a group of female crows who served the Goddesses (Matrikas). Blessed with divine knowledge from birth, he mastered Prana Yoga the science of the vital breath.
How he survives the Pralaya (Cosmic Dissolution):
When the universe burns at the end of a Kalpa, Kakbhushundi doesn’t die. He enters a state of Akasha Dharana (Space Meditation). As the stars fall and galaxies dissolve, he sits calmly on his wish-fulfilling tree on Mount Meru, watching the “reset button” of the universe get pressed. 🌌
He revealed to Sage Vasistha that he has watched:
✅ The Ramayan play out 11 times.
✅ The Mahabharat happen 16 times.
✅ Each time, the players are the same, but the moves are different.
He has seen a version of the world where humans were made of stone, and a version where the Earth was nothing but gold. He is the ultimate reminder that our “reality” is just one episode in an infinite series!
Next time you are near Tirupati, make sure to visit the Gudimallam Parasurameswara Swamy Temple.
Why it’s a must-see:
This temple houses the oldest known Shiva Lingam in the world, with a history of continuous worship dating back over 2,200 years.
While the unique 5-foot monolithic Lingam dates to the 2nd or 3rd century BCE, the surrounding stone temple was built and renovated much later by the Pallavas, Cholas, and Vijayanagara rulers.
To enter the main sanctum, you must physically descend to a lower level (Garbhagriha) than the main floor, creating a powerful sense of stepping back two millennia.
The main sanctum is built in the Gajaprishta (elephant-back) style, an ancient form rounded at the rear.
At specific times of the year, the sun’s rays align perfectly to touch the deity’s feet. ☀️
It’s just 30km from Tirupati on the banks of the Swarnamukhi River. A rare chance to see Vedic-era roots preserved in stone. 🛕

For over two millennia, the Pandya kings stood as patrons of Vedas, yajñas and Dharma. From Sangam literature and coins to copper plates and inscriptions, the evidence clearly shows their deep association with the Vedic tradition.

Today is the Guru Pooja of Thiruvalluvar, who gave Thirukkural, the dharma sastra in Tamil, dividing that into three Purushartas, Aram (Dharma), Porul (Artha) and Inbam (Kama).
(Valluvar attained Moksha on the day of Masi, Utthra Nakshatra)
It is mentioned in Mahabharata, in the Shanti Parva, that at a time when the Vedas had disappeared, Brahma compiled a treatise called “Trivarga”, based on the Vedas and dealing with the three Purusharthas. From this work arose many ethical treatises (Nīti texts). One of these texts is Thirukkural as given in Thiruvalluvar Maalai.
This verse says that the inner meaning of the four Vedas was condensed into a work dealing with the three objectives of life — virtue (Aram), wealth (Porul), and pleasure (Inbam) by the four-faced Brahma, and that Tiruvalluvar composed the Tirukkural based on that foundation.
Thus, Tirukkural is one of the Bharatiya ethical texts founded upon the principles of the Vedas.
