@geerlingguy@HashiCorp The recommended Homebrew process for keeping up to date with HashiCorp products has been, and continues to be, the HashiCorp tap. Example:
brew tap hashicorp/tap
brew install hashicorp/tap/terraform

I’m looking for my next opportunity and would be hugely grateful for a signal boost. Multiple years experience with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, working on multi-product portfolios, leading product design, research, brand, web presence, & design ops teams, in hyper-scale times and lean times. Love working on tools for builders & makers, and drawn to wicked problems, emergent technologies, and making the web (and world) better. DMs open 🤍
Apparently using the "Woman Leader in Tech" thing as an angle to reach out for help and then try to sell you something is a thing now... 😳 Happened to me twice this week and it's not even Friday yet.
The new global management plane for Consul is now available as a free public beta. Try it out to gain full visibility for both self-managed and HCP Consul clusters. https://t.co/erjjKbQlg6
@rakyll IMO this isn't the first time Google has changed strategy based on a competitor. In 2010s it was Google+/Google buzz to compete with Facebook and org wide focus to integrate a "social element" into search results to beat facebook, now it's Chatgpt/Open AI.
Second, is Hermes. We have a document heavy culture (PRDs, RFCs, memos, etc) and we've invested in internal tooling to make it easier to author, publish, discover, and subscribe to relevant documents. https://t.co/x9Zon93DAR
50K Consul clients in a single cluster is a big number. And distributed systems are cool.
Favorite Consul case study is Criteo, 260K service instances but multiple clusters across 8 DCs.

If you are at #hashiconf and use Consul, come see me talk about operating it at scale at 12:15 tomorrow (hallway track). Talk will focus on reliability and operational concerns.
Big announcements for Consul today. There’s so much but a REALLY cool one to highlight is the ability to manage your self-hosted (on-prem) Consul clusters via HCP. Drop in some config and your self-hosted appears with full diagnostics and more. See screenshots, incredible work!
A @awscloud Lambda and Oracle DB walk into a bar and @HashiCorp Consul now has a solution for the two to talk securely. Hashicorp announced Lambda support in Consul. This is something I’ve been asking about for years. https://t.co/W8pGqqFzhd

Nothing really changes except more ways of saying "thoughts and prayers". Why do we make it so easy to buy these weapons of mass destruction in the name of gun rights.
