Not going to lie, no light situation is really testing me. But I still tried to show up today. Did a bit more on my Cisco Networking Basics—slowly understanding IPv4 and subnetting better. I plan to finish networking basics before Sunday.

I know I haven’t been consistent or showing up online lately. Not because I don’t want to, but there’s been no power supply since I resumed school.

Still, I’ve been working behind the scenes, learning and pushing forward whenever I can.

Day 2; Today I learned about MAC addresses and how devices are identified on a network. A MAC Address is a unique physical address assigned to a device, unlike an IP address which can change.

Key things:
– Public IP 🌍 (internet)
– Private IP 🏠 (local network)
– Subnet mask helps define network sizes.
