Extremely disappointed with Mahindra service
1. Dashboard noise from day 1 :Kept car 8 days.
Returned with screwdriver DENT MARKS all over dashboard.
Promised replacement 1 month ago. Still no approval, no part. Daily follow-ups = No response.
The E0 Petrol which was available for Rs 65 per litre while crude was $130 per barrel is now available at ₹170 per litre when crude is $80 per barrel.
Isnt this development ?
2. Left front door wasn't closing properly. from day 1, "Repaired" but issue still there.
Authorized service is worse than roadside garage.
Is this the Mahindra quality we pay for? Please resolve ASAP.
वैसे बहुत कम लोगों को पता हो होगा माननीय एथेनॉल मंत्री जी एक समय प्रधानमंत्री पद के भी दावेदार थे। सोचिये अगर ये बने होते तो गन्ना सिर्फ हमारी कार में नहीं डाल रहे होते।
यदि क्रूड तेल का दाम प्रति बैरल 70 डॉलर से नीचे रहेगा तो एथनॉल पेट्रोल से महंगा पड़ेगा । लेकिन यदि इसकी क़ीमत 120-130 डॉलर प्रति बैरल रहेगी तो एथनॉल सस्ता साबित होगा । पर सवाल
आपदा में अवसर का नहीं है … ये अवसर आपदा ना बन जाए इस पर पेट्रोलियम मंत्रालय क्या कर रहा है यह देखना होगा।

गडकरी जी गाड़ी का एवरेज चेक करने का नया फार्मूला लाए हैं.
गाड़ी एक लीटर पेट्रोल में कितना किलोमीटर चल रही है, अब इस गणित से माइलेज नहीं चेक होगा.
अब गाड़ी के इंजन में एक मशीन लगेगी, वो मशीन सिर्फ सर्विस सेंटर पर होती है, और वो मशीन ही बताएगी कि माइलेज कितना मिल रहा है?
अब गणित और बेसिक कॉन्सेप्ट की किताबों को भी जलाकर उनसे एथनॉल निकालना चाहिए.
Honest feedback for the GoI to consider, offered as a well-wisher:
1. E20 is a massive issue. Just because people aren't protesting in the streets doesn't mean it isn't. There is a simmering anger everywhere.
2. The root cause of this mess is singular: someone decided it was acceptable to ignore the National Policy on Biofuels 2018's plan to introduce E20 in 2030, which would have allowed older, non-compliant vehicles to phase out naturally. Instead, E20 was rolled out despite the fact that most vehicles on the road are not calibrated to run on it.
3. There is no "lobby" behind this public frustration. If the govt believes there is, they should expose the nexus and let citizens decide for themselves. Otherwise, ministers and spokespersons are only making things worse by using "lobbies" and "deep states" as defensive arguments.
4. Vehicle performance is suffering. Drivers are experiencing a drop in mileage and damage to parts. After months of denial, even Nitin Gadkari and Hardeep Puri have acknowledged "some issues" with Ethanol.
5. If the goal is true energy security, the focus and push must shift toward EVs, alongside exploring nuclear energy as a primary power source. The govt should encourage and incentivize EV adoption through subsidies and a robust infrastructure network. Ethanol, in the way it is currently being implemented, is doing more harm than good.
6. The solution is to provide a choice between E0 and E20. If the current fuel infrastructure cannot support both, E20 should be rolled back to E10 until 2030. This will allow older cars and bikes to be phased out naturally before moving forward. And also, do not introduce E27 or whatever is next till the new fleet is E27 compliant and all E20 cars are phased out, unless there is an infrastructure in place to dispense both in future.
Mileage is not distance divided by litres of fuel burnt. This is a misconception. You have to go to a service station where a special mileage computer can only tell the mileage. Science is done, now finish the maths
I have an E10 compliant car and since the introduction of E20 my mileage has improved by 10-12 percent in real world conditions. I have measured that pollution has come down by 1 kg per hour. I used to breathe through my left nostril, now I can breathe through both while driving
