India ranks 157 out of 180 in World Press Freedom Index 2026. Sangharsh Committee expresses concerns on the drop of India’s position by six places from 2025. It is high time to restore press freedom, ensure safety of journalists and protect the right to free speech. @RSF_inter
Sangharsh Committee will protest in Bathinda on 5th May i.e., Tuesday against Bhagwant Mann government's blatant misuse of power to strike down journalists' digital platforms in Punjab.
