@shellshockkk To make it better, if you continued to pay on your loans in the 2 years of deferment, it would’ve applied to your principle only and no interest accrual, so you’d likely be under $10k left on your loan if you just decided to keep paying on your debt when “you don’t have to”.

@shellshockkk 2019 to 2025 = 6 years. 4 years of payments means 2 years deferred (covid).. deferred means interest still accrues but doesn’t apply until deferment ends. You essentially went 2 years without paying your debts while the interest accrued. Of course your balance won’t go down. Lmao
