@HardwareSteam what a warm and genuinely heartfelt post. I hope God blesses you with everything good in your life, and that you continue being useful to others ๐๐
@DaviesGeor37482@segavscapcom the great thing about owning a Steam Deck is that i can actually download all these fan games and play them almost as if they were on a console/switch ๐ but maybe some consoles can be hacked to allow downloading of non-official games? :)
@i42Software I hope the UI is still as simple, and joining server+channel even simpler for newbies, and most importantly, I hope XDCC support is even better, like a dedicated UI just for it. Progress bar, multiple downloads, etc. That would be amazing :) Thanks for your work โญ
@i42Software You're still developing CaW?? That's AMAZING news :D I've tried almost every Win IRC client to find the one with simplest install+GUI for newbies, and CaW is still the best one! But XDCC support could be better. Used it for anime tutorial: https://t.co/TwXiO8UY9J
@SMetaldave64 I don't think the 150M Switch install base is looking for a Switch 2 as much as "new games/experiences" :)
Switch 1 satisfied the "portable gaming" itch.
Switch 2 doesn't bring anything too new for that market.
Deck owners match with S2's need for Pro hardware.
Small market.
@surtgames why is the Switch version so cheap?? :O I really enjoyed the demo -- cute and polished visuals, and fun puzzling -- but it wasn't enough to pay ~$10 for it. But only $3 and ON SWITCH as well (my preferred platform)?? Feels a bit unfair, but that's instant buy 4 me ๐
@Cornf_Blue this must be the first indie game i've seen with a proper nintendo polish to it. every little thing screams quality and love. if you're able to develop a proper story mode full of content and amazing level design, this could be the next sonic/mario contender :)
@StormYorha@ImLarsN what you need is a version control system for artwork (aka github for graphics).
Try checking this one out (I haven't tested it, but looks promising): https://t.co/Kow5LdMJV5
@Cornf_Blue Your attention to detail in the visual and animation department, both in-game and the UI, is what makes your *prototype* look vastly superior than most indie games out there. Super talented ๐๐
@Cornf_Blue Not sure what age group you're targeting, but would love a "child-friendly"/SFW version/filter for this game, kinda like the "Naive Angel" mode in Bayonetta 3, if time allows it ofc :) Discovered this game today and Im already super hyped for it after disappointing Sonic "clones"
@EveningStarStdo Hey, just bought Penny, but really thought it would be 60FPS since it's a custom engine made from ground up? Something I'm missing? :)
Also, controls are a bit unreliable on Switch. Double pressing Y doesn't always dash, have to space it out. Other small stuff:(
@mholt6 Just discovered the Papa Parse website and I had to come here to tell you how amazingly dumb-simple the info is laid out! It's humorous, broken down into logical sections, and every question is answered.
btw the plain answers finally made me "get" streaming and workersโญ
@EveningStarStdo Absolutely loved the lengthy gameplay reveal -- you should post it online for everyone to see :) Also, I just *need* to know: will there be unlockable skins/costumes/characters in the Bonus Shop?? I'm weak for aesthetic unlockables, and it's a huge incentive :)
@grabitygame why did this game go free with no strings attached :O? That's an amazing thing, don't get me wrong, but the world has taught me that anything labeled "free" always has some "ulterior motive". Are you perhaps gearing up for Grabity 2? :)
