@IslesFix Never, and I mean, except your top 6 D to make it through a complete season. A team should have a minimum of 8 D they trust or believe can be NHL level Dmen. George will get his chance this season.
@stefen_rosner@TheElmonters Just a general consensus. I know you said to expect some, never said major. But even at this point "some" are looking unlikely. See how the next week plays out.
@TheSchaefather@Dr_Toboggan__69 Then I completely misunderstood your original post. My take was these are the type of players available in the 2nd round, which isles will not be picking. Which is true, and thought having the added context of the actual numbers was relevant
@TheSchaefather@Dr_Toboggan__69 About 1/4 of all 2nd round picks will never play a game in the NHL. Another 1/4 will play 100 games or less. Odds of getting an impact player are about 15%, odds of an all-star around 3%. This is based off the actual numbers of all-stars and current 2nd rounders in the league.
@NachoNoel1@R3gularAmerican@TomWilliamsPol If you think a clear accidental collision off the ball is in any way the same as an on the ball foul, there is really no need for further conversation because your understanding of the game is non-existent.
@NachoNoel1@R3gularAmerican@TomWilliamsPol Ahh yes, Australia, noted world powerhouse. Must be an expert on the subject. In a world before VAR that type of play may be a pen, but you will never see a collision like that called in the modern game. And rightfully so, defender never saw the attacker or changed his line
@DivineTrading You called the area a shithole without acknowledging the reason there aren't the things you mentioned around it because US stadium sports culture is that of tailgating. And FIFA regulation for the stadiums security basically make the tailgating impossible
