@SegunShowunmi@elrufai I love your style of writing and politics generally @SegunShowunmi . Politics without a doubt can be very complicated. However, your ability to strike a balance while also clearly and forcefully expressing and pursuing your interests is very commendable. Wish I can learn from U.
I just cast my vote in fulfillment of my civic responsibility. I am a firm believer in Nigeria and remain unshakable in my belief that a new Nigeria is possible and imminent 🙏
I have exhausted all personal efforts and want to openly appeal to the Chairman of @officialEFCC to direct the removal of the PND placed on my account and other innocent people who transacted business with me since December 29, 2025. @femifalana_SAN@InibeheEffiong help me.
I'm a public servant, fully cooperated with @officialEFCC yet my salary account and those of others including a widow I sent a paltry N1,600 has remained blocked. My family has suffered and my reputation in my community is ruined. No Nigerian deserves to be treated this way.
Please Chairman @officialEFCC I know you are a good man and may not be aware of my travails. I believe you would uphold the principle that it is better for 10 guilty men to go free than one innocent person to suffer. Kindly request a brief on my case and do justice timeously.

@InibeheEffiong@TundeEednut Please appeal to @AlikoDangote on behalf of Nigerians to reduce the price of cement. The construction industry provides succour for unemployed Nigerians and this yearly increment drives inflation and is a disincentive to many.
@aedcelectricity@Uncle2Triplets Does he really need to be the one informing you of the areas within your jurisdiction that are experiencing prolonged power outages? Hmmm...
Good people,
Lagos is noisy. Entertainment is everywhere. But substance is rare.
If you are looking for something meaningful to do this festive season something beyond traffic, clubs, and recycled concerts then I strongly recommend The Forest of the Talking Drums.
It is an immersive African storytelling experience running from 19 December 2025 to 3 January 2026 at Anthill Studios, Plot E, Ikosi Road, Oregun, Ikeja.
This is not a play you sit down to watch passively. It is a carefully constructed experience that forces you to listen to rhythm, to memory, to African stories told the way they were meant to be told: through drums, movement, sound, and silence.
In a time when we complain about losing our culture while consuming nothing that preserves it, experiences like this deserve attention. It is thoughtful. It is well produced. And it respects the intelligence of its audience.
Take your children. Take your friends. Take yourself.
Support work that reminds us who we are and does it with quality.
The Forest of Talking Drums is currently showing from December 19th to January 3rd, Here in Ikeja, the heart of Lagos. With different ticket prices that can be bought online at https://t.co/kb4UNOJrYg
Reduction of petrol price is a strategy to run competitors agroound. Why has @AlikoDangote not reduced the price of cement? Afterall, transportation and energy costs are now firmly under his control! Should cement be selling above N6k in Nigeria today? It is not yet uhuru...
I am worried Nigerians are getting over excited. Please note that @AlikoDangote is a ruthless businessman like others in his league and would stop at nothing to crush any opposition on his path to achieving his goal. I see the usual strategy towards creating a monopoly emerging.
The Cost of Insecurity.
I would like to return home. My life unfolds in milestone events. At this point, I had planned to live in Anam and open a large fish farm. A $250k investment for example, could yield a 30% return PA.
If 1000s of my kind return and invest at this level the multipliers are thousands of jobs, which in turn create other thousands of jobs, etc. Without this basic process, the country, with its high birth rate, will not make adequate progress.
But even my cupidity and self-interest are no match against a very basic human instinct - Survival. This visceral instinct eats any intellectual consideration for lunch.
The other day, I read (I believe it was @General_Oluchi ’s) post about Walmart’s DD and its eventual decision not to invest in Nigeria. Multiply that by n of companies making similar decisions and you’ll realize that the solution to our economic problem is in our hands.
Pls bear with us when we complain about our leadership (or the lack thereof). The malaise has had a devastating impact on a personal level
@TECNOMobileNG
I'm distraught adequate aftersales support isn't at
@CarlcareNigeria for Techno Phantom 8 phone users due to absence of essential parts.
I would have thought that mobile phones should have a lifecycle of at least 5 years especially in an EMC like Nigeria. Sad!
