Are the three Election Commissioners even on speaking terms?

Certainly, that is not the ‘vibe’ we are getting.

Nearly 50 officials - including CEOs and Deputy Election Commissioners - got transferred over 2025–26, and their ACRs (Annual Confidential Reports) are still stuck in limbo.

Why?

Because the rule is that the CEC and both ECs must sign off on these together, as a panel. Except they haven't been able to.

Some of the affected officials have apparently gone back and forth multiple times, personally pleading with the CEC and each EC individually just to get their reports cleared.

But since the three won't (or can't) sit down and sign as a unit, the ACRs are still pending - even for officials who've long since moved on to new postings.

If the three can't even agree on routine paperwork, what confidence should we have in them running the world's largest election?
