The Government Maharaja's Sanskrit College is a historic institution in Mysuru located on New Sayyaji Rao Road. It is one of the oldest centres for Vedic and Sanskrit learning, offering studies in Vedas, Agamas, and Shastras.

Established by Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar III and formally inaugurated by Maharaja Chamaraja Wadiyar in 1876, it continues to preserve traditional Indian knowledge.

Unfortunately, the compound wall located on the backside of the building on Banumaiah Road has collapsed due to poor maintenance. Frequent urination on the compound wall by the public is said to be the reason for the weakening of the wall.

It can be recalled that the historic Lansdowne Building faced a similar issue where the backside of the building turned into a dumping ground and a place for public urination, resulting in severe damage to the iconic building.

Authorities must take measures to prevent such occurrences to safeguard the historic structures and heritage buildings.

Days after DMK MLA Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin spoke about eradicating Sanathana Hindu Dharma on the floor of the legislative assembly, TVK MLA Thiru VMS Mustafa came in support of Thiru Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks. Not only is this very unfortunate but also it shows the level of hatred they harbour in their minds towards an eternal Dharma that helps us to lead a meaningful life!

DMK & TVK, in their very short history, have proven to the people that they are two sides of the same coin. DMK has forgotten what their constant attack on Sanathana Hindu Dharma has brought them to. TVK will also soon remember.

If either DMK or TVK had the courage of conviction, they should have openly declared during their election campaigns that targeting Sanathana Hindu Dharma would be central to their politics.
