Electoral law does not recognise two separate categories of voters- “Registered voters” and “Deleted voters”.

Sec 23(1) RPA, 1950 expressly provides that any person whose name is not included in the E Roll of a constituency may apply to the ERO for inclusion of his or her name, subject to the statutory requirements.

This provision forms the basis of continuous updation of electoral rolls. Final publication of an ER does not permanently close the process of registration. Eligible persons whose names are not included may seek inclusion through the prescribed procedure, except during the period when the roll is frozen under Section 23(3).

All I got from this, and I read the whole piece, it being turgid and all is that Imam is an ultra fundamentalist Islamist who yearns for the time he and his ilk lorded it over India, he absolutely detests Hinduism and wants to see it entirely exterminated and since none of that is possible, he wordcells on the glories of how a unified Muslim vote with full rights would look like.

The crux of his argument is that partition was forced on Indians by "Brahminical" men in the Cong just so they could then take over the resources of this country and enslave everyone else.

I am not kidding, that's quite literally his idea of the partition.

Just a simple comparison of the living conditions in Pakistan vs India would put an end to this moronical assertion that somehow a state with Muslim autonomy would somehow lead to great leaps in development.

He quotes Jinnah, a shiite all the time, ignoring the simple fact that in this pure Islamic version of India, Pakistan, Shiites have no rights, are violently persecuted and are treated as 2nd class citizens. While the Shiite (or any other Muslim sect in India) has no such restraints or persecution placed on them.

He is a dangerous, half baked wannabe Islamist Marx.

PAKISTAN BOMBS MOSQUE IN BALOCHISTAN.

The Pakistan Air Force struck a mosque, apart from several residential units, in Surab district of Balochistan last night. Several casualties feared.

And this is not the first time Pakistan’s security forces have been accused of violating the sanctity of mosques. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa too, the current chief minister alleged that Pakistani security personnel bring dogs into mosque compounds and tie them there during military operations, an act that outrages the religious sentiments of worshippers.

This is the same country that goes to the UN and cries foul over the legal demolition of mosques built on encroached private and government land in other nations.

Yet at home, it routinely blows up mosques and kills Muslims, while playing the politics of Islamophobia abroad, labelling every legitimate criticism of Islamist extremism as an irrational fear of Islam.

Pakistan is a country that has survived, in no small measure, by weaponising its Islamist identity, repeatedly invoking the spectre of its nuclear programme falling into the hands of Islamist extremists to threaten and pressure the world. And still it goes around the world behaving as though it is uniquely entitled to moral authority, sympathy, and privileged treatment.
