27 is the age when you can’t run from yourself anymore.
You start noticing your habits, wrong choices, and time wasted. Slowly, you realise some of your struggles aren’t just bad luck but they’re from repeated mistakes. It feels heavy, but this is where real growth starts.
In this phase, excuses don’t work. You cut distractions, rethink friendships, and take full responsibility for your life. It’s uncomfortable and slow, but every small step builds self-respect.
i cannot stress enough, the importance of developing your own relationship with things. develop your own relationship with sleep, food, life, your career, hobbies, fitness, God, nature, meditation, love, prayer, clothes. other people doing it a certain way does not make it law.
If you’re going through a tough time self pity and blame are the #1 ways to ensure it continues.
This is because they are based on surrendering control. Without control, it’s out of your control.
If you do the opposite, control over the tough time (and its end) is yours.
