He won 11 times in college.
11 years later, Patrick Rodgers is still searching for his first TOUR win.
This is a story of heartbreak, family and perspective.
This is his story, in his own words.
He was once compared to Tiger.
Yet over 300 starts later, Patrick Rodgers has not won on TOUR.
That’s part of his story, but it’s not the full story.
Tune into Episode 3 of Mindful, coming tomorrow.

I can’t pretend to be a true IU fan. As a kid, I simply rooted for every school in Indiana.
But as a “Hoosier” it’s been impossible to not get wrapped up in the football turnaround of @IUHoosiers. Such an incredible fan base and university town. Home game in ATL last night.
It’s interesting, as a golfer I always wish I could play a sport where amplifying the adrenaline provides the maximum performance benefit. I love to feel hyped up.
Fascinating that the Heisman trophy winner is searching for peace and calm before the game.
Fernando Mendoza on his favorite pregame hype song
"I honestly don't listen to hype songs because I have to stay cool, calm, and collected. I actually meditate and pray before the game. I think praying, in a way, is meditation to help myself be in my thoughts, as Quarterback is a cerebral position."

One of the best second half individual performances I have ever seen. Kid put the team in his back. Scored or assisted on 40 of the last 42 points. Unreal
@samehueasyou I think dye preserve is a great club. Jonathan’s landing has some interesting golf courses too. But for public golf The Park is as good as it gets.
I’ve been lucky to be a member of the Bears Club since I turned pro in 2014. I never take for granted being a part of such an incredible place and going to work around the best players on the planet.
There’s a lot to say about the current situation in collegiate athletics. But my take is that kids and athletes in general could be better at handling adversity. That is where the growth lies.
I see this all the time and am guilty of it myself. Bad bounce, lip out, untimely bogey. The world is against you…
Great reminder that no one cares and the world owes you absolutely nothing.
There’s power and agency in knowing that.
Nick Saban explains why you're not entitled to anything in life.
"You get up every day, you're entitled to: Nothing."
"Nothing is acceptable, but your best."
You get what you earn in life. That's it.
No one owes you success, opportunity or playing time. Those are things you earn.
Show up, do the work, and earn it every day - not because you're told to, but because that's the standard you hold yourself to.
Your thoughts drive what you want - your actions drive what you get.
The gap between the two? That's where most people fail.

The golfers paradox:
In order to work, build and prepare we need an analytical brain, self critical, facing weakness and building new skills.
In competition, we need freedom, self belief, trust and a lack of attachment to the outcome.
Success is being able to access both.
I woke up.
My family is healthy.
We’ve got a roof over our head & food on our table.
We’ve got clean drinking water & fast internet.
Life is good.
I am thankful.
