37 years ago the Chinese army killed large numbers of people in Beijing and elsewhere when it cracked down on student protests. I was there and saw it happen myself. Nowadays China tries to claim the Tiananmen massacre was invented by the international media. That’s a total lie.
It's now day 55 of the two week ceasefire during which time we have had 16 deadlines, 3 threats of oblivion, 4 requests from Pakistan, 9 social media memes, 5 absolute last final warnings and a "very good call with Hezbollah"
And the regime in Iran have conceded...nothing
Imagine if a woman president crashed the economy and started a war with no end in sight, and her biggest, seemingly ONLY concern was building a ballroom and redecorating the White House.
Artificial Intelligence is built on the creative work of millions of writers, artists, musicians, journalists, teachers, scientists and ordinary people. That work has been stolen by Big Tech oligarchs.
Now's the time to reclaim it and ensure AI works for ALL, not just the few.
@DrHaroldNews If you want a direct democracy, go and live in Switzerland. We live in a parliamentary democracy. Our "neutrality" is not a constitutional issue. You, and many it would seem, have missed this important point.
Asked today how he feels about negotiations with Iran collapsing, Trump said, "I couldn't care less."
You'd think the president of the United States would care about service members dying and millions paying more for gas because of his illegal and unconstitutional war.
Why is RTÉ promoting material many parents would consider sexually explicit to children?
RTÉ’s "Read with Pride" guide includes the book What’s the T?, which contains a chapter titled “Sexyfuntimes” that discusses anal sex and other sexual acts. What ethical standards were applied when recommending this content to young readers?
Who signed off on this and why do taxpayers have to fund very clear abuse of children?!?

@OdohertyI64991 Perhaps if you had a basic grasp on ethics you would develop an understanding. A good start is that the end does not justify the means. However, Moral philosophy does not lend itself to Twitter or soundbites.
There’s a growing list of the virtuous class in Ireland who think we shouldn’t play soccer against Israel.
But that same group think it’s ok that Ireland are going to play cricket against Afghanistan.
The virtuous Irish are of course in no way antisemitic.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
My letter in yesterday's
@Independent_ie@ICCLtweet complained that change isn't happening fast enough. But change must be lawful, something they forgot when they told schools they 'must' use preferred pronouns. They were caught out but suffered no consequences
Angela Rayner - £40k underpaid stamp duty - repaid. Lost jobs in Cabinet and Dep. PM.
Peter Murrell - £400k theft from SNP - going to prison
Huge coverage of both
Nigel Farage - £5m undeclared bung (possibly more) - goes to ground for a month.
Media coverage? You judge.
So, why did PSG fans in France riot when their Qatari-backed team won? Well, read on and find out because our media won't tell you. https://t.co/I6VAgNxEsg
This is the total contempt in which we treat young sports women. This male has a huge biological advantage over a female in an explosive jumping event. Turning a very mediocre male into champion stealing a girls rightful moment of glory. It’s bloody outrageous unfairness 😡 & vile sex discrimination
We’re obsessed with the idea that poor people might take more than they need, but we never question why the super rich are never satisfied with what they already have.
