@mcuban @grok Covered California made the decision to waive most services from the deductible requirement in silver 70 plans and get rid of deductibles for everyone in a silver 73 plan for 2025. In this table, anything in blue is NOT subject to the deductible and gets first dollar covg.

However, some mandates are vaguely worded and have to be interpreted. Also, many employers choose to self-insure and are subject to ERISA (Fed) & not state law

But it does cover 37 million, including 99% of all foster kids, 41% of all births in this country, and one-third of all kids with cancer.

Just because the budget resolution doesn't say "Medicaid cuts" doesn't mean they aren't there--it requires at least $880 billion in cuts out of a specific area where the math requires health care cuts, mostly Medicaid. As one GOP Congressmember said, "That's where the money is."

Undocumented immigrants are not eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, or the Affordable Care Act.

Medicaid does reimburse hospitals for emergency care provided to undocumented immigrants.
