Just did a quick experiment working with ipv6 only and disabled ipv4 on my machine, i did not came very far...

"aws s3 ls": Could not connect to the endpoint URL: https://t.co/RkokKVlciE :-(

@0yinbra @registeredblip @nixcraft For personal desktop users this is true, but is definitely not build for unattended and reliable server systems. One major pain i have with pacman: it is not possible to fully automate package management (e.g. please choice package 1,2,3..)

@BurgerKing nice, thanks to the @Europarl_EN we have now straws made out of paper, but the cups still contain plastic and are therefore not possible to #recycle 😏. Europe laws in a nutshell 🫤. I do not want to know how many people throw it into the paper garbage 🤔

omg so https://t.co/4bQJfYp5Rk is not reachable over ipv6. So if you have an autoscaling group in a private subnet lifecycle hooks just do not work and your ASG will grind to a halt. I knew Ipv6 was crippled. But this is just insulting at this point

I've been building a map of all AWS API endpoints (left) in all regions (top)
⚫️ = API not present in region
🔴 = API is IPv4-only
🟢 = API speaks IPv6
... but ... damn, there's just so many of them! This way of displaying it is completely useless. Will think of something else.

@awscloud I don't get it, since years we have been told that S3 is not a filesystem. What is the purpose of this? I mean, other solutions like rclone or even AWS Filegateway solved that problem already. For most legacy apps it will probably not a efficient replacement.
