@KingTargaryenn This is why I stopped buying Sony platforms with the PS5 release. This direction was obviously where they were going. Destroy the secondary market. Control access. Resell the same game multiple times across platforms to the same people. You pay full price, but stay a renter.
@raudelmil@LibertyLockPod I don't need to provide evidence for the negative. Just like it's not up to me to prove unicorns don't exist. You, however, make extraordinary claims about something being true, without any convincing evidence for it. Thus, the burden is entirely upon you to prove it.
@raudelmil@LibertyLockPod Just more scaremongering lies to justify an invasion with no basis in fact. Made up intelligence reports about dangerous weapons the "scary people" over there have (or will soon have). Show actual inarguable verifiable proof. Until then Americans won't listen to you cry wolf.
@BLVCKLIGHTai Realistically? Most likely I'd just die. Society would be in violent chaos, the economy would grind to a complete halt, and survival for most would become extremely difficult. This is apocalypse level civilization disruption.
@ChrisTrue1973 @terri4436166795 There's an even easier solution. Voting on the Dem bill to fund SNAP benefits while the rest of the budget is being determined. But the GOP wants poor people to go hungry with SNAP benefits held hostage. Because they want to strongarm Dems into making people lose their insurance.
@ClickingSeason@ryangrim Nah, MAGA hates the left. The much larger share of voters (independents) voted for Trump on the economy because of inflation pain. They were betrayed so that support is going to evaporate in midterms and the next presidential election.
@EricD84789875@idkwahatimdoing No one is apolitical. Even people that profess to be apolitical just mean they support whatever the currently winning side is. No one with a right to vote (exercised or not) can escape taking a side.
@OEimhear There's no basis for it. It's just a random corporate rebranding to something plain and meaningless. The only reason it's a thing is because the reactionary outrage machine always requires a controversy to keep the base engaged, real or manufactured, doesn't matter.
@Fernand46357857 Seems like a good starting point. But there must also be a cleaning house part. Firing every single Trump appointee, immediately reversing every single one of his executive orders, and Trump and his enablers finally facing jail time.
@lawindsor Mars is toast too. Maybe, *maybe* one of the moons of the gas giants will end up habitable without insurmountable terra forming energy and material requirements necessary, for a time. but realistically in hundreds of millions of years humanity is going to be long gone anyways.
@Ed_of_O@gonglei89 By then the damage will be done, the trade will be lost and it will not be gained back without offering terms more favorable to other countries than they were before Trump sent them looking elsewhere. It will be a net loss to the US either way.
@Vincen18256Gary@carsonight@WallStreetApes Biden couldn't use it for the same reason Republicans can't use it. It implicates people on both sides, and if someone pulls the trigger everyone goes down. Trump was certainly one of Epstein's long time clients just from what we already know.
@ZachFOCO@davidsirota Yeah, and they will. People really hate centrist, corporate captured, establishment politicians. It's why Trump got elected. When things don't get better they're going to line up for another far outside the box approach.
@OldManLefty1@BarbDargan We are collectively responsible for our government in the same way a parent is responsible for their children. If they go and bomb a neighbor's house we are going to have to pay for it even if we told them not to and they promised they wouldn't.
@chevys_reality @mattxiv That's because almost all Dems are all dyed in the wool centrists that believe the same things. The very few leftists in office will usually cry foul though.
