Their “system”, which their ever so sympathetic call handlers have no way of overriding, is set up to make sure they hold onto our money. The call handlers make up different reasons every time

@British_Airways This is a cosy arrangement. Either you keep £3800 minus whatever cut Expedia get without having to provide a flight or else you both profit from me sinking another £2-£3k trying to use the credits

@ExpediaUK Do NOT book with Expedia. They offer free cancellation so you can’t use your insurance. Then they say they give flight credits instead of a refund but when you try to use them they quote more than double their current prices plus £150 fees per person which makes them worthless

@British_Airways They claim that you have a set list of prices with them and they are unable to apply the flight credits I have to a normally priced flight because that is the contact they have with you
