@InfluencePC Good question! The answer is that the pubsub code we have released is not a backport from Metronome. It is a completely different design with an emphasis on efficiency, extensibility and clean code structure.
We're very happy to announce the #prosodyim 0.11.0 release! An exciting milestone with many new features, explored in more detail on our blog: https://t.co/0z4bcZSVZO

@lgueye An alternative is to set ignore_presence_priority = true in Prosody. This will work with all clients out of the box, but only for incoming messages and generally works only at the start of a new conversation.
@lgueye Yes! The recommended way is to enable mod_carbons in Prosody: https://t.co/hEWku8hSxP - Pidgin requires a plugin to be set up to enable this feature. See https://t.co/twcf2ACKCh for links for Pidgin and other clients.
We’re excited to announce that Swift 4.0 has reached full release status. The packages can be downloaded from https://t.co/BkTPSodXPe, and a full list of new features can be found in the 4.0 changelog. Enjoy!

Excited to be making the future of standards-based messaging at the #XMPP summit in Brussels this week. Also looking forward to #FOSDEM over the weekend!
