Heartbreaking to see future vets enduring such a struggle to demand minimum wages.

IVRI interns receive just ₹1500/month despite multiple official requests for a hike. While VCI mandates TA/DA for externships, we bear all travel & living costs ourselves. Fair pay for vet interns now!

Dear, ICAR
₹3,000/month is simply inadequate. Veterinary interns deserve fair compensation, dignity & recognition.

25,000 stipend! ✊

Years of veterinary education;NEET;years of practical training and finally a 6-month compulsory internship-with 24×7 duties
All for a ₹1500/month stipend?
We demand only a fair ₹25,000/month stipend.

We chose veterinary medicine to become the voice of those who cannot speak.
But today, the voices of veterinary students themselves are going unheard.
We heal animals while silently struggling to afford our own basic needs.
We deserve dignity, not neglect.
