Tonight I went to see a dear friend, born in NY. He's dying of cancer. I told him that Yankees were in the World Series against Dodgers. He said that was the best news he'd gotten today. I promised to root for the Yankees, although I usually hate them. I love my friend more.

I've been watching #Rays since first pitch, but mainly from the kitchen. Steak tips with some great frozen veggies, cooked in olive oil then simmered in sodium free broth. Sautéed portobello mushrooms made a nice side. Now relaxing while Mrs T dozes after a tasty meal. Go Rays!
