The Zurich Basel PSC symposium, on December 2nd, will highlight the various plant interactions with their environment and within themselves. Register now!
We are delighted to announce this year’s online PSC symposium “Connectivity: Plant interactions reloaded” on December 2nd. Our speakers will give insights into their research on various plant interactions across different scales. Register now: https://t.co/xjQ7zPfpqe 1/2
It was a great honor to host our wonderful speakers and participants at the virtual symposium yesterday. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did, and you had interesting and fruitful discussions. Looking forward to next year's @PlantSciCenter symposium. Stay healthy! #psc_2020
Congratulations to @LeaAntoniaFrey and Unnikannan Prabhullachandran, and @aliciaAbarcaC. Their posters were selected by the scientific committee and the audience as the bests.
This morning we heard very interesting talks about plant-plant and -microbe interactions by Jiri Friml, @TesterinkC, Susann Wicke, Heribert Hirt, Julia Vorholt, and @annaliisalaine. We're looking forward to the afternoon with @Vivian_Irish, Rebecca Irwin, and Jordi Bascompte.
You can arrange 1:1 meetings with other participants during the networking sessions and also on the following two days. Learn more about how to register directly on the platform and how it works: https://t.co/9Nz5EOqEDu #PlantInteractions#psc_2020
We're excited to host you for a fascinating and interactive virtual symposium. There are still a few seats available. The registration has moved to our event platform now: https://t.co/T1JuZ3rrCv @PlantSciCenter#PlantInteractions
Please RT - We extended the registration deadline to November 30th. We're much looking forward to welcoming you and our speakers to learn and discuss about various plant interactions from different perspectives. Register here now: https://t.co/HcM8jy7O1Y @PlantSciCenter
Do you want to know more about this exciting story published lately in @ScienceMagazine? Join the conference, Jiri Friml is talking about “Auxin canalization in self-organizing plant development”. @ISTAustria@PlantSciCenter#PlantInteraction#psc_2020 https://t.co/GyB6kw1mkZ
Rebecca Irwin from @NCStateAEC is rounding the plant-animal interaction session off by talking about mutual plant-pollinator interactions in the face of changing environmental conditions. @PlantSciCenter#psc_2020#PlantInteraction Irwin lab: https://t.co/CGfI2InDTt
Register for free by 18/11. Submit an abstract for poster presentation and flash talk (optional). Check out our exciting speaker line-up covering biotic and abiotic plant interactions from the molecular to the community level. https://t.co/HcM8jy7O1Y #PlantInteraction#psc_2020
I'm absolutely thrilled this is finally out!
We find highly variable virus diversity among host individuals, and show host genotype to be key determinant of virus community structure

With amazing team @suvi_sallinen @AnnaNorb @sudenhanna@ERC_Research
Jordi Bascompte from @UZH_Science will talk about mutualistic plant-animal ecological networks and how they support coexistence and durability of species within the network. Check out his webpage https://t.co/6Wwcx6SDLx @PlantSciCenter#PlantInteractions#psc_2020
@annaliisalaine from @UZH_Science will talk about plant microbe interactions from an eco-evolutionary and community level perspective. Excited to hear how her research may advances sustainable food production. https://t.co/jDRCGc4Wwa #PlantInteractions#psc_2020@PlantSciCenter
Julia Vorholt from @ETH_DBIOL will be presenting her multifaceted research approaches for the investigation of the phyllosphere microbiome. Her group is pioneering the usage of synthetic microbial communities. https://t.co/2orGiuEW36

@susann_wicke is rounding the plant-plant interaction session off. She moved recently to @HumboldtUni where she is continuing to study parasitic plant interactions (e.g. Striga). In addition, she worked also on animal parasites connecting climate change and host exploitation.
In the plant-plant interaction session, Jiri Friml from @ISTAustria is joining @TesterinkC. He will be talking about auxin-related molecular interactions within the plant during developmental and abiotic stress signaling. #PlantInteraction@PlantSciCenter#psc_2020
