Car centric world views bite in many ways. People who never use public transport being in charge of designing PT solutions predictably results in PT not being fit for purpose.
It's 3.44pm. the 13 should run every 7-8 min. The one from 15mins ago will arrive in 14mins 🤯
Lack of bus priority is killing this route. @AklTransport
@urbanistfromwhk The word "construction" seems very heavy in this context. Are they planning on a spare ramp or sth? Even AT managed to get the right turn from Newton Rd into K'rd in a few weeks. Waka Kotahi took 9 months to design and built a bridge on SH25a.
Hi @AklTransport is there a reason why the app doesn't show the next departures but those over 30mins away? This gives an impression that if I miss the 8.15 I'll have to wait till 8.48.
@staticnz@AklTransport It doesn't seem to work that way. Both routes 13 and WX1 have the same frequency - every 10mins but the planner doesn't show it.
We're really happy to share that SH25A in Coromandel will reopen before Christmas, three months earlier than anticipated. Workers have completed the deck of the new 124-metre bridge where the road collapsed earlier this year, and the road will reopen by 20 December.
@Grant_AAA It does feel weird to have those completely unrelated routes on the same diagram. Also the Lincoln Rd interchange features twice (I know it's different bus stops. But it's either an interchange or a bus stop)
@AklBikes Looks like that stop opposite the library is not happening.
At the previous stop the driver of my 135 asked who wants to get off in the village because the next stop is much further down Te Atatū Rd.
@zhuoyanakl@urbanistfromwhk Yeah. But all crossing should have those speed bumps. Not just on the motorway offramps.
I'm sure that for the lower frequency services (135 or 149) people will try their luck, especially in lighter traffic.
