Remember that RBI said no NBFC registration needed for the 50:50 rule exemption?
Draft rules are finally here. First, refer to this thread:

This is the start of my thread on #Budget2026. Please be aware that I'm prone to dad jokes, meandering segues and in general, commentary that might not enhance your life in any meaningful way whatsoever.
I've been doing this a while now, so if you're familiar, welcome back!
You don’t have to accept the story you inherited, you can unlearn it and write the one you need instead.
Most people don’t realize that the assumptions and scripts they carry about who they are, what’s possible, what’s worth wanting, aren’t laws of nature, just habits of thought.
They’re defaults, and defaults can be changed.
If you want to change your story, you start by noticing it. They live inside a narrative they absorbed unconsciously, rarely questioning its source or whether it’s useful.
The trick is to step back and ask: “What am I assuming? Is this really true? What would happen if I tried something else?”
Unlearning isn’t about forgetting, it’s about dropping the constraints that don’t fit.
You identify the patterns running on autopilot, see where they came from, and then deliberately choose not to obey them.
This isn’t easy, because the old story feels safe, even if it’s wrong. But if you’re willing to tolerate the discomfort, you get to write something new.
You pick the beliefs and values you want to keep, drop the ones that don’t serve you, and experiment with new ones until you find what works.
You don’t need permission. You just need to notice what you’re doing, and then do something different.
Most people spend their lives trying to optimize within the boundaries of their inherited story. But the real leverage comes from questioning the boundaries themselves.
The story you inherited is just one way things could be.
If it’s not helping, let it go.
Write the one you need.
There are no perfect decisions, just decisions you learn from, and the courage to keep adjusting as you go.
The real risk is not in being wrong, but in doing nothing at all.
Brand new 3+ hour episode now live with @naval 🚀
This has been a very long time coming.
Shot in downtown San Francisco in a beautiful old library room. We brought in a fantastic steady cam operator so there’s some incredible roaming shots which really bring this one to life. Gorgeous buttery tones throughout.
Expect to learn the true price of success, whether sacrificing your happiness is worth it, what advice Naval would give to his younger self, what the true source of unhappiness is for most people, how to overcome low self-esteem, what Naval would add to his ‘How To Get Rich’ thread, how to become comfortable being unapologetically selfish, what Naval sees as the next big trends in science and technology, his take on the escalating culture wars, how to get comfortable with death and overcoming grief, the best and worst ways to spend your wealth and much more…
Watch now on YouTube and Spotify x
When you're free, you can't blame your circumstances on anyone else.
True freedom is a terrifying prospect for many because it comes with a price: total accountability.
It's much more comfortable to have someone else to blame.
Two absolutes of life:
1. Death
2. Change
If you can completely accept death, you will learn to live.
If you can completely accept change, you will learn to live better (adapt) with change.
Budget2025: Thread starts here.
Expect bad attempts at jokes. Do not expect tax cuts. I hope there isn't too much poetry, though I'll quote cartoon movies liberally.
22nd September, 2024 is a red letter day for Indian Chess - this is one of the biggest moments in Indian Chess History. Team India wins Double Gold medals in the Chess Olympiad 2024! The Indian Open and Women's Team both secured Team Gold medals, with many more Individual Board medals to come.
Team India (Open) needed just a draw today for Team Gold, but they defeated Slovenia 3.5-0.5 anyway. Gukesh, Praggnanandhaa and Arjun scored wins on the top 3 boards, and Vidit had a long and fighting draw on board 4. The Indian Open Team secured first place with a whopping 21/22 Match points!
Team India (Women) had to win against Azerbaijan today, and they delivered with full force. Harika, Divya and Vantika won, while Vaishali drew her game. India defeated Azerbaijan 3.5-0.5! If Kazakhstan won against the USA today, there would've been tiebreaks involved - but that match ended in a draw. The Indian Women's Team secured first place with 19/22 match points!
A huge congratulations to all the players, coaches and the entire team involved. What a day!
