P-STEP (Personalised Space Technology Exercise Platform) - a smartphone app in development by a multidisciplinary team from the University of Leicester
Experts from the University of Leicester are developing a mobile app that will allow people to access guidance on exercising - taking into account any long-term health conditions they have and linking this to real-time data on pollution for the users location #CleanAirDay
Making research more accessible starts with listening.
As part of the LifeMap-QUEST study, #NIHRLeicesterBRC researchers co-produced multilingual videos with communities to explain a heart study and improve inclusion.
Working with @SAHealthAction and public contributors, the team shaped scripts and translations to ensure the content was clear and culturally appropriate.

Our @BcsPresident@g_andre_ng welcomed today's publication of the NHS 10 Year Health Plan and its focus on plans to:
- tackle inequalities in access to prevention, diagnosis and treatments
- invest and increase use of digital technology to aid in early diagnosis and treatments
- commit to primary prevention by working to reduce risks such as smoking and obesity
We'll provide a fuller response to the plan over the coming weeks and consider the implications for cardiovascular care delivery.
